Η 26χρονη έγραψε ιστορία το βράδυ του Σαββάτου 2 Μαρτίου, αφού κέρδισε τα έξι από τα επτά βραβεία για τα οποία ήταν υποψήφια. Έτσι ξεπέρασε τους Blur, Adele και Harry Styles σε αριθμό νικών, σε μία και μόνο τελετή.
Η τραγουδίστρια και τραγουδοποιός κέρδισε μεταξύ άλλων, τα βραβεία «Καλλιτέχνης της Χρονιάς», «Άλμπουμ της Χρονιάς» (My 21st Century Blues") και «Τραγούδι της Χρονιάς» (Escapism).
Είναι επίσης η πρώτη γυναίκα που κερδίζει το βραβείο τραγουδοποιού της χρονιάς.
Η Raye παρέλαβε τα βραβεία της με δάκρυα στα μάτια και είπε μεταξύ άλλων: «Δεν καταλαβαίνετε τι σημαίνει αυτό για εμένα. Η καλλιτέχνις που ήμουν πριν από τρία χρόνια δεν θα πίστευε ότι έχω τον έλεγχο, ότι είμαι το αφεντικό του εαυτού μου».
Στη συνέχεια, η Raye ανέβηκε στη σκηνή και μάγεψε το κοινό που την απόλαυσε, ενώ εξέπληξε τα social media με τις φωνητικές της ικανότητες.
